Why is rowing in this workout?
Troy started every workout with rowing as his warm-up. Because rowing was part of Troy’s regular program, the fact that he couldn’t finish his warm-up due to being out of breath brought awareness that something was seriously wrong. Rowing was one the initial indications of troy’s illness.

Why 23 PUsh press?
the number 23 was chosen because it is troy’s favorite number & The push press was chosen because troy loved shoulder days!

why 88 Double unders?
The number 88 was chosen because he was born in 1988. Jump roping was another form of troy’s favorite cardio.

Why 30 Push ups?
The number 30 was chosen because Troy was born on the 30th of November. With push ups being another of his favorite movements, troy always crushed his push up test in his USAF Fitness assessment.
